About Amy
Amy Lopez -Owner and Facilitator
Amy has worked in agriculture since before graduating high school in 2009. She has more than five years experience working professionally with different and diverse populations of people therapeutically using nature, animals, and plants. She is a Certified Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor through PATH International, and has training in Therapeutic Horticulture as well as various trainings in disabilities and mental health. She also has completed training as a naturalist and has several years experience as an environmental educator in a park setting. Amy created and facilitated a therapeutic program and giving garden on an 81 acre non-profit farm in CT. Seeing a need for a more mobile program that could be just as beneficial to participants as being on the farm Amy created Bloom Where Planted in May of 2023 and now travels throughout Connecticut working with people and plants.
